Guidelines for Nodal Center for conducting Assessment led JOB FAIR :

• Nodal Center will send a letter to Merittrac, expressing their interest to conduct Job Fair at their Campus, exclusively for 2008 and 2009 Batch.
• Nodal Center & Merittrac Services Pvt. Ltd, Bangalore will jointly organize the Job Fair at Nodal center location.
• Candidates with NAC-Tech scores will only be allowed for the JOB FAIR
• Nodal Center will send an invitation to all Institutions in the region for Organizing/Conducting NAC-Tech assessments in their respective institutions.
• All participating colleges will have to send their consent to the Nodal Center for participating in the Job Fair atleast 10 days in advance.
• Nodal Center to give Merittrac the complete list of participating colleges by a specified date, so that presentations to students of participating colleges can be organized and Registration process of the students can be facilitated.
• Nodal Center to send the list of Companies, who visits the region for Campus Drives.
• Any sort of publicity through Print & Electronic media, Marketing collaterals would require prior approval from NASSCOM.
• Prior approval would require from NASSCOM for conducting JOB FAIR. This would be obtained by MeritTrac upon getting a confirmation from the NODAL CENTER.
• On best effort basis, Merittrac would try to invite NAC-Tech Endorsing Companies to participate in the Job Fair.
• Nodal Center to allow candidates of other Institutes to appear for NAC-TECH Test in its Campus, in case the other campuses are not having the required facilities to conduct the test in their respective campuses.
• Nodal Center to announce names of the participating companies only after prior confirmation from Merittrac.
• One SPOC will have to be designated by the NODAL Center. MeritTrac will liaise with the SPOC for all activities related to the Job Fair.

Eligibility:

1. B.Tech (All Branches)/MCA/MSC-IT/CS/MTech (All Regular) graduate.
2. Candidates graduating in 2008 & 2009 are only allowed to sit for this test.
3. Candidates who have 60% marks in their BE/B.Tech are eligible for taking this test.
4. Only those students who appear for the NAC-TECH Test and having a valid Score-Card are allowed to Participate in the Job - Fest.

REGISTRATION PROCESS FOR NAC – TECH TEST

• Payment to be sent through D.D. in the name of Merittrac Services Pvt. Ltd. Payable at Mumbai along with the copy of Purchase Order.
• Merittrac then receives Login ID’s and Paswords from NASSCOM and issues it to Colleges. Ids will be issued to Colleges only after prior payment by the college for NAC – TECH.
• Merittrac shares College details with NASSCOM.
• Merittrac checks on the infrastructure of the college in case of online testing and certify college as NASSCOM Certified Test Center.
• Upon Merittrac Certification, the name of the College will be uploaded into NASSCOM portal as a certified venue.
• Merittrac freezes on the Test Date after consulting College Management.
• Merittrac sends the list of Login ID’s along with the Passwords to the College Placement Authorities.
• After the students obtain the ID’s they should Login to NASSCOM website and Register Themselves.
• Students should Key in their Bio-data and Academic Details, select their Respective Test Location and take a print out of Hall Ticket.
• Once the Registration Process is over through NASSCOM portal, Merittrac will send the final registered list to the college for approval.
• Merittrac Event Manager will check with College Placement Authorities for the Number of Computers available for NAC – TECH test Administration.

Part A – comprises of Abilities Tests and Programming Fundamentals, as all students are expected to possess these abilities. All test takers have to take all the tests listed as Part A Tests. Duration – 2 hours 20 minutes.
