Library – “Gyanoday Bhavan”
The Library is the brain of an institution. Our library fosters the pursuit of academic excellence. The mission of the library is to connect people to the world of information and ideas. The library has a huge collection of books. More than 86969 books are available in the campus library. About 464 print + 587 Online Journals, periodicals and magazines on various topics and 20 News papers are regularly subscribed by the library.
Reference section is well stocked with Encyclopedias, books on General Knowledge & Competitive exam , Dictionaries, Indian standard codes etc. In order to enrich the library, a large number of valuable books on varied topics of study and interest are added every year.

- The Library provides web-based access to over 21500+journals/books by title, publisher, subject, ISSN, etc. through Springer Link, JCCC@INDEST & EJ Server E-Resources Consortia.
- Through these consortia user can browse any journal that IITs and IISc subscribe, on their own and through AICTE-INDEST consortium.
- Users can access journal from Springer, ACM, IEEE, Science Direct, ASCE & all publishers from whom our library or INDEST has subscriptions.
- It also provides abstracting information of over 13000 Journals, 2260 full text journals available in various subjects like medical sciences, physical sciences, computer & engineering & many more subject discipline.
- In addition, it provide search on journals, it also provides search on E-Learning Courses & E-Books & online databases.
- Facility for purchase of Full Text of articles from 13000 journals
- Library operation: Computerized: library is fully computerized through SOUL(software university library)
- Internet facility: library provides internet facility through Wi-Fi network.
- Library is institutional member of DELNET Developing Library Network; through these network user can avail the ILL (Inter Library Loan) from more than 1300 libraries from all over the India, also access more than seventy Lakh bibliographic records of books, journals, articles, CD’s etc.

Special Features |
The library also has a growing section on digital learning resources in the form of CDs, DVD and Floppy along with INTERNET facility to collect information from the world. The college has introduced the system of open access where students and staff are allowed to enter the stacks and choose books for themselves.
A Library Orientation programme is held for new students to acquaint them with various services provided by the library and the procedure to borrow books and other reading material. More than 5600 users benefit from the library.
The library has a Book Bank scheme. Text Books are lent to deserving and needy students for one academic year. The college library has a spacious stock Room and Reading Halls for staff and students. The library hours are extended for the benefit of students from 9:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. (Monday to Saturday) and on Sunday timing is from 9:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
Academic displays are organized in the library for different departments; new books acquired by the library are also displayed for the benefit of students and staff. Reprographics services are also available. |

The subscription to e-resources through the Consortium is treated as substitute to the requirement of foreign journals in print for the purpose of approval and accreditation related matters. It is also considered as one of the best practices adopted by the institute to improve the teaching learning process.
# Under the INDEST-AICTE Consortium (Springer Link) user can access total 573 International and 14 National journals and also access the archives from 1997 onwards.
