Pharmaceutics Lab

The lab is well equipped with all the state of the art machines like 10 station rotary punching machine, 8 jar dissolution apparatus, Brookfield viscometer, rota evaporator and all other latest equipments. Other equipment available are as follows: Ampoule filling and sealing machine, Bottle sealing machine, Friability apparatus, Pfizer hardness tester, Homogenizer, Erweka multi attachment apparatus.

Pharmaceutical chemistry Lab

It has a fuming chamber, ph meters, colorimeters and digital and analytical balances. It also has microwave ovens which can be used for synthesizing new compounds and the same can be screened for their pharmacological activity.

Pharm Analysis Lab

The lab boasts of the latest equipments ranging from the UV spectrophotometer, gradient HPLC, Flame photometer, Fluorimeter, Sonicator, Karl Fischer apparatus with air conditioned instrument room.

Pharmacology Lab

The college is approved by CPCSEA and the experiments are in sync with the guidelines laid down by the governing authourity. The lab is equipped with instruments like Rota rod apparatus, sufficient organ baths, Lagendorf’s apparatus, Actophotometer, Pole climbing apparatus. These apparatus provides a tool for evaluating the pharmacological activity of the compounds synthesized in the lab and converted into dosage forms. There is an attached animal house providing breeding & housing facilities.

Pharmacognosy Lab

The student is exposed to various types of plants and their habitats for cultivation, preservation, collection etc. This lab also plays a significant role in extraction of medicinal constituents from the medicinal plants along with their identification and characterization. The lab is equipped with different types of extractors, TLC, BOD incubators for the same purpose.

Pharma Microbiology Lab

The lab is equipped with different types of equipments for identifying and characterization of microorganisms – friendly to the body and also pathogenic. The lab has equipment like BOD incubators, Aseptic room with Laminar air flow, Zone reader, Electrophoresis units, Phase contrast microscope, Binocular microscope.
