The formulation and manufacturing of various dosage forms like tablets, capsules, injections, creams, lotions etc. are studied in Pharmaceutics Lab using lab scale equipments like tablet compression machine, Tablet Counter, Tablet Coating Pan, Capsule Filling Machine, Friabilator, Collapsible Tube Filling Machine, Hardness Tester, D.T. Apparatus, Ampoule Filling and Sealing Machine, Ampoule Washing Machine, Tincture Press, Particulate Screening Platform, Brookfield Viscometer, BOD Incubator, etc.

Various categories of drugs are synthesized, purified and characterised in Pharm. Chemistry Lab. Analytical methods for estimation of various drugs and their dosage forms are studied in pharm analysis lab using modern analytical instruments like HPLC, UV-visible Spectrophotometer, IR, Moisture balance, Colorimeter, Conductometer, Potentiometer, KF apparatus, Flame photometer, Melting point apparatus.

Pharmacology Lab

Human Anatomy and Physiology is studied in Pharmacology Lab using various Physiological Charts, histological slides and Human models. The action of drugs on biological objects is studied using pharmacological experiments. Pharmacology Lab is well equipped with equipments like Spirometer, Haemocytometers, Haemoglobinometers, Wintrobe Tubes, Organ Baths, Sherrington’s Recording Drums, Sterling Heart Levers and Frontal Writing Lever, Rota Rod Apparatus, Pole Climbing Apparatus, Analgesiometer, Electroconvulsiometer, Actophotometer, etc.

Pharmacognosy Lab

The morphological and microscopic study of herbal drugs is carried out in Pharmacognosy Lab. Also active drugs are extracted from crude plant parts and their phytochemical characteristics are studied. The lab is equipped with Histological Charts and Slides, Specimen of Herbal Drugs, Camera Lucida, Dissecting Microscopes, Soxhlet Apparatus,etc..
